Kudos are in line for Yani Tseng of Taiwan; she has been named the Female Athlete of the Year by the US Sports Academy in conjunction with USA Today and NBC Sports. The Male Athlete of the Year is No. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic.

Yani has done Taiwan proud with her accomplishments; she ended up the No. 1 female golfer and at the age of 22 became the youngest golfer, male or female to have won five major championships. This past year she won seven Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) titles including two majors. Her accomplishments are many; check her out in Google and remember she insists that she be known to be from Taiwan and not that country on the other side of the Strait.
