Taiwan as the World Turns: Dalai Lama Strikes Out Again And More

The administration of Ma the Bumbler keeps trying to insist that Ma's placating fawning approach to China is bringing peaceful results. Peace? Well a semblance of peace at what price. China continued to take advantage of Ma's placating and issued new passports which bear a map that makes the South China Sea, a PRC Mare Nostrum, and claims Taiwan and other territories of the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei and Malaysia as part of China???

Following that we again see that the Ma administration has denied the Dalai Lama a visa to this democratic country. The time is "not opportune" is the running excuse. Seems the poor old Dalai Lama will not get his chance while Ma reveals he (Ma) knows little of what democracy means.

But a 3rd happening came with a little surprise as more and more realize that Ma's trying to please everyone and keep a foot in each of two boats is just not working. The New Party has quit the pan-blue camp, saying that Ma's fawning to Beijing is not moving fast enough for them.

Poor Ma, if he had four feet, he would try to keep one in each of four boats.
